culture festival. part 1.
in japanese schools, students put on what is known as the culture festival. formerly they were usually about traditional japanese culture. now, most of them focus much less on traditions but on newer things like dances, plays, musicals, performances, and at my school, haunted houses. here are some pictures.
p.s. these kids are so awesome. i was blown away by how hard the students work on getting ready for the culture festival and how much they want to do well and have people enjoy it.
